I rarely go to K-Mart/Sears for a variety of reasons. 

It's not on the way to the Thrift Store

.  They never had anything new when

I went there. 

Usually, I stay home on Thursdays. But I needed to go get gas, and 

thought I hadn't been to K-Mart in a few months, so why not take 

a ride to see what might be in the Clearance aisle. Still had some

money stashed away in my new doll budget.

I was pleasantly surprised to find out they had

Out of the 4 Stores that I can go to in my area, I find that the Wal-Mart 

is the worst for finding any new dolls.  They still haven't gotten the

Barbie Basics Jean Series, even though the sign has been up for months.

Spritz - Singing Palm Tree

Stopped at Target today to see if I could find 

any of the new Monster High Dolls. 

They didn't have any so I walked around and 

found the Clearance Aisle. 

There were no dolls, but there was this lonely  Palm Tree.

I picked it up. It was adorned with Christmas Lights

and when you pressed the button, it played music with the lights 

flashing to the beat. 

Thought it might be good to use in a display. 

Looked at the price. It was originally selling for $14.99

and was marked down to 10.48. Still a little high, but I

took it over to the scanner and to my surprise it rang up 

for $3.74 + tax.   Total $4.00

This is a doll that I have had on my want list 

for a long time. She reminded me of
Wednesday, from the Addams Family. 
I knew I probably wouldn't 

be able to find her at the Thrift Store or at a 

Garage Sale.  So every so often I would go 

on E-Bay to see if she was listed. 

There was a seller who had it as a buy it now, but it was

more than I really wanted to pay. 

Then the seller put another one up for auction. 

I won the auction, and

got  her for less than the Buy It Now. 

Not too much less, but this only happens once and awhile.

I wasn't going to go to Target this morning, but the Flea Market was dead. 

It's been so hot here in the Northeast that most of the vendors stayed home. 

So instead of going straight to the Thrift Store, I relented and stopped at 

Target.  In the past few times I have been at Target, there has been nothing 

new.   Except today, I found two new Monster High Dolls, one that I really wanted.
