I have bought this house and the furniture at a flea market a couple of years ago. The furniture looks right but then I'm no expert.
ReplyDeleteNice find :O)
Thanks, I believe the one piece (brown round object in the bedroom) belongs to the first Barbie house that was made out of heavy cardboard.
ReplyDeleteLast year, I saw someone selling one on E-Bay that they had redone. It was really nice. I am not that talented to try something like that.
See now you are just showing off! Super cute house. I'm actually not a collector of plastic houses, but I enjoy seeing them.
ReplyDeleteI got that house in 1974 or 75 for Christmas. It was the same layout, only with more modern furniture. Lovely, sweet memories from this one!
ReplyDelete@Vanessa, Thanks,I have to show off my house since I am not as talented as someone I know who makes beautiful displays. These will have to do for now.
ReplyDelete@Pixie, Yes things like this bring back such great memories from years gone by.
Beautiful house! And how well-kept! Nice to see someone with such a wonder;)
ReplyDeleteThanks Karina!
ReplyDeleteI have 1 of those yellow chairs. I was wondering what era theey were from. Now I know!! Great find!
ReplyDeleteThanks Thriftymamma7!
ReplyDeleteFirst of all sorry if this post more than once...I'm having trouble. In the book Barbie Doll Structures and Furniture it shows your house and a picture of the accessories. It states the accessories to include: 1 orange twin bed, 2 yellow and black chairs, 1 yellow table with black top with red flower, 1 black sofa with blue seat. Great Find!
ReplyDeleteThanks Shelly for the info. It seems like the pieces are all there with I believe two extra pieces.
