I was able to order Marisa. Didn't 

mind paying the 3.99 shipping since 

I probably use that much in gas going from 

store to store.

Recent Finds

Didn't post yesterday since I went to 

an awards night.  And went I got home,

my monitor was giving me some problems. 

Every so often it would go into this hibernation 

mode and I have to shut down the computer, 

take out the USB connections and just hit 

some keys to get to monitor to come back on again.

But I think I fixed it now so it won't happen again. 

Fingers crossed. 

Haven't found much of anything in the past week. 

Went to Toy's R Us, Target and Wal-Mart 

looking for S.I.S. Marisa or any of the new 

Monster High Dolls. 

There was nothing out there. :( 

Even the Thrift Store has been bad. 

Couple things I have found. 

Found this Magic Grow Aquarium 

Thought I would put it to good use 

in a diorama.

You can add water and watch the 

fish grow. If you empty the water, 

the fish return to normal size. 

Found these Dawn type of dolls. 

6 inches tall.

No markings on the doll in the gold and orange. 

She has some green at the knees. 

Came with one boot.

Women Action Figures

In the Northeast, the winter has been 

pretty mild.  Whenever the temperature 

is over 32 degrees, people are at the 

 Flea Market selling their wares.

I got to there on Saturday, not many

dolls but I did find these two ladies.

Don't know who they are.

Most likely had accessories but they weren't

with these ladies.

When browsing through the 

Fashion Fever doll auctions

I came across an auction for 

pieces to a Barbie Build a Room Kit. 

But before bidding, I checked to see 

if there were others available. 

Found one still in the box and not opened. 

Price was right!  Cheaper than the pieces.

my own walls and use them with this set? 

Will open the box this weekend, too busy 

with other things this week to go and 

find my furniture.

A New Improved Madison

 This is another of my doll projects.

Madison's Hair was just a mess. 

Brushed out all the tangles.

 So I decided to give her hair the hot water treatment.

 Hey, where's the water?

  

Ahh, that feels good!

Dunking her hair in the hot water. 

Combed her hair. 

Let it dry. 

But wasn't satisfied with the results. 

(Forgot to take a picture)

Went over to see Cecile last Saturday to get 

some advice on what I should do to Madison's hair.

She showed me her secret method on how to fix 

Madison's Hair. (Can't tell, sworn to secrecy)

So while I was there I proceeded to fix Madison's hair. 

There was one plug missing in the front so Cecile showed 

me how easy it is to reroot. 

Cecile repainted Madison's face.

TOYS R US DOLL ALERT

Stopped at TRU's today.  They had the Monster High 

Skull Shores dolls, but no Draculaura. 

Started talking to one of the employees and she 

told me to come back on Friday morning since 

they will be getting another shipment then. 

Went to the Barbie Aisle, and there I saw 

the purple S.I.S. car. Maybe the S.I.S. 

Rocawear Dolls hopefully will be 

arriving on their shelves soon.
