Thrift Store find
Wow love her. She's too adorable. I have Fern, Jo, & Heidi. This was a great series of dolls. They go so well with my Stacie sized dolls.
ReplyDeleteIf you come across any more I'd like to add more to my collection :O)
I've been hoping to find these with an irresistable price. Anne is so, well... Anne! :)
ReplyDeleteI can't believe you found her at a thrift store. You are very luck! I need to go thirft store shopping with you! Count me in too. If you find anymore of these, I'm interested.
ReplyDeleteThanks Dollz4Moi, Will keep an eye out for any more of these dolls.
ReplyDeleteAuntLou, I remember a long time ago when these dolls were in a store called Odd Job and the price was only a few dollars. Sorry I didn't pick them up then.
Ms. Leo, I almost passed her by. She was high on a shelf in back of the counter. Every so often they get some amazing dolls. When the weather gets nicer, we will all have to plan to meet and go doll hunting. The Thrift Store I go to has two other stores that we can also go to. Will keep my eye out for these dolls when I go out. Will let you know if I find any more.
Hello from spain: Anne of the green gables like very much. Congratulations of this good buy. Keep in touch
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on that find, Frannie! I have Jo, Fern, and Heidi from that line. Their faces looked too mature for their bodies so i re-bodied them onto new bodies. Jo is on the Frank Sinatra body; Fern is on a teen McKenzie body; and Heidi recently claimed a Liv body.
ReplyDeleteMy find wasn't as cool as yours though. I got them from K B Stores and for about $10 each. Shrug. Still glad I have them though.
You are like the terminator of thrift stores! You will not stop until you get something awesome... which this is.
ReplyDeleteThanks Marta,
ReplyDeleteThanks D7ana, I bet the dolls look better on articulated bodies.
Thanks Hey,It's Muff, I do like the thrill of the hunt.
