Steffi Love and her little sister Evi were manufactured by Simba Toys, a German manufacturer. There is no date on the boxes. Steffi is from the series "Pink and Blond" and Evi is from "Winter Fun". I am assuming these are older versions since if you go to the Simba website they still have the "Pink and Blond" series and also "Winter Fun". These outfits are not shown. You can learn more about Steffi Love and Evi at the Simba website: http://www.simbatoys.de/en/brands__products/steffi_love.shtml

Happy Memorial Day!
Happy Memorial Day to all my US readers. Memorial Day is a time to remember the ultimate sacrifice our soldiers gave for our freedom. Thank you to all the members of the Armed Forces for your service to our country.
Found these two dolls yesterday at the Thrift Store. They are from 2002 by Avon. I thought the sentiments on their feet reflects my feelings today. "I Wanna Be Patriotic" is what I am feeling this whole weekend. "I Wanna Be On Vacation" won't be for another three weeks when school lets out. Counting the days!

Another Mystery Doll
This mystery doll is marked 1999 PA China. I already knew that the PA stood for Play Along which is a division of Jakks Pacific. Play Along made Celebrity Dolls. I can't figure out who this could be. At first I thought she looked like Barbra Streisand when she wore her hair curly. But I am not sure. I dressed her in a My Scene outfit. Anybody want to take a guess?
Campbell Soup Barbie
Campbell's Alphabet Soup Barbie was produced by Mattel in 1999. Original outfit, missing accessories.

Star Wars - Queen Amidala
Star Wars Royal Elegance Queen Amidala was produced by Hasbro in 1998. The first picture is of Queen Amidala in her original outfit and one missing some pieces with her hair down.
Took a picture of the back of their heads to show what the original style was and what it looks like when brushed out.
The next picture is of Star Wars Queen Amidala Portrait Edition produced by Hasbro in 1999.
Queen Amidala is wearing her Black Travel Gown.
She has a hole in the middle of her forehead where there should be a crown(?) wrapped around her head.
If you take off her hood, she has no hair.

Who Am I?
Who am I? I was found on the $.99 Thrift Store Shelf last Saturday. All I had left was my silver cuff bracelet. The nice lady kept picking me up and putting me back. Wondering if she would ever make up her mind. Finally, I was put in a cart with a few other friends. When I got to my new home, I had my hair shampooed and conditioned. She dressed me in a no-label outfit she had picked up at a Flea Market that day. Perfect fit. I now sit around with all my new friends waiting to find out who I am. Some clues from the nice lady. Miss No Name is marked 2005 Mattel on her neck. She also has pink glitter lips. Does anyone know who she is?
UPDATE: Thanks to wigmajig, mystery doll solved. Totally Hair Wave It from 2008.

Kira
It's sometimes difficult to figure out which doll you have if you don't have a clue to go on. Kira had her yellow drop earrings and I knew her name. I looked though my reference book but no luck. Did a search on E-Bay and found Kira with the same yellow earrings. She is an All American Kira which was produced by Mattell in 1990. Added the purple label dress, short white boots and a ring.
Christie
Don't know which Christie this is. She was found on the $.99 shelf at the Thrift Store since she had nothing to her name. Brought her home. Shampooed and conditioned Christie's hair. She has such soft thick hair. Christie has been sitting on my doll pile for some time. I needed to find her the right outfit. Yesterday I found a few outfits at a flea market. It has no label but fit perfectly. Added the pink heels. I wish she had holes in her ears. I had bought from a co-worker a set of pink heart earrings that would go great with this outfit.
UPDATE: Thanks to wigmajig. She is a Salon Surprise Christie from 2001.

World of Tinker Bell
There are so many different versions of Tinker Bell I thought I would post the ones I found as a group. I don't have a reference book on Disney Dolls, so I haven't done much research on them.
The first one is Princess Tinker Bell. Produced by Disney. No date on box.
Dressed as a ballerina, Tinker Bell is marked Disney. No date. Only label on dress says "Made in China". Missing her wings.
Tinker Bell is 10 inches tall. Marked Disney on head. Also Disney label on outfit.
Tinker Bell is 8 inches tall. Has no identifying marks. She is not Disney.
This Tinker Bell has a label on her outfit marked Disney Princess. No date. Missing shoes and wings.
The last Tinker Bell is marked Disney. Missing her shoes. To me, it seems the head is too big for the body. The head also reminds me of the Princess Babies.
Please comment if you have any information on these dolls.
Anastasia
On my various trips to the Thrift Store I have come across a few Anastasia Dolls.
The first doll is 8 inches tall. Has a ponytail that grows. There is a wheel on her back to retract it. She had on molded shoes and comes with an extra outfit. Made in 1997. Imported by Alcone Marketing Group.
The next doll is Together in Paris. Anastasia and her dog Anya. She was produced in 1997 by Galoob. She seems to have all her accessories.
The last Anastasia doll is called "Paris Elegance". Produced by Galoob in 1997. She has all of her accessories. There are opera glasses for the child included in the box.

Super Star Barbie
This Superstar Barbie came out in 1989. She has a white star painted in each eye. She is wearing her 2 piece outfit. I have the over skirt, but sadly it has a large hole in the front. She is also missing her pink boa so I gave her a pink stole and added pink heels.

The doll is marked Mattel 1968, No country of origin. Twist and Turn body. No blue eye shadow. The closest I could come to figuiring out who she may be is a 1987 Funtime Barbie.
