Mixed up Clone

After my trip to Amazing Savings, 

we went over to Shoppers World which

was next door. 

The store is located in an old grocery store. 

In the window, I saw some Defa-Lucys.

Went in and headed for the toys. 

Thought I might purchase a Lucy when 

something else caught my eye. 

I first did a double take when I thought

I saw a Barbie Basics Box. 

Upon closer inspection it was a doll 

called Super Cool Model. 

A Barbie Clone. 

There were a few different dolls (no AA)

all dressed differently.

I chose this one for her hair and her outfit.

She has  real eyelashes and earrings.

It wasn't till I turned the box over 

till I found out that she could be a Harumika Clone. 

Her outfit is only a piece of material 

wrapped around her body and locked 

in place by pushing the material into a slot (style lock)

in her back.

Just like the Harumika dolls. 

Comes with a stylus tool to tuck the fabric into the slot. 

There is also a stand for the doll. 

So I called her my Harumika Clone in a 

Barbie Basics Clone Box.

She is kind of pretty and unusual  for $4.99.
Too bad she wasn't articulated.

I got to go to a great close-out 

discount store today called 

"Amazing Savings"

My friend and former co-worker told me about

this place that had Barbies.

The man in my life (who hates shopping)

decided to take me to this store after I told 

him about it.

He wanted to get some trucks for his

year old grandson.  Christmas Shopping 

before the rush.

In the doll aisle, there were the first 

Barbie Basics for 9.99. 

Elvis in Jailhouse Rock.

The 2010 Christmas Barbie and

a lot more. Couldn't decide what to get.

in the cart, along with about 4 trucks. 

I was surprised when the man in my life 

said he was buying them for me. 

We also stopped at Shoppers World and I found 

another doll which I will write about in another post.

The man in my life couldn't stop talking about 

the store and how we are going to go back.

Furniture and dolls.. A sign on the Display 

caught my eye.

I wasn't going to go out today, but

I had to pick up a few things. 

Since I was in Wal-Mart, I had to go 

down the doll aisle.

To my surprise there were new

Barbie Fashionistas . 

I couldn't leave without buying at 

least one, so I chose

price.
