Giving dolls a second life. Rescuing dolls from thrift stores, flea markets, and estate sales.
I just pulled out my Rosie doll yesterday. I am thinking about making her a mom to one of adult dolls. She would make a cool grandma to some of my kids. I think I may have picked out her family, but I am still looking through the others first.
Great idea! I can't wait I am going to an estate sale this week and do they have dolls. Vintage 70's - Barbies, Sunshine Family, Houses, clothes etc. Some are still in boxes. These sales don't come up too often. Have money saved so if I go overboard. I need to get up early and get a number so I can get into the sale before they are all gone.
Wow. You will have enough to post for the next month or so. Can't wait to see them.
Hopefully I will get something before the dealers pick them up. I have an idea for 2 families if I get them, if not maybe I can pick a few of them up on E-bay. The prices for these dolls are inexpensive right now. I am retiring as of July 1st so I will have lots of time to "play" and organize my dolls.
