Supposedly when you took warm water and wiped it on her face, something would happen.
Tried it, nothing happened.
Mulan's face looks like she is wearing Kabuki Style make-up. (She has make-up lines)
Thrift Store find.
Try cool water. Maybe that will work. It worked on the shaving Ken dolls.

ReplyDeleteI know this is late, but I have one of these dolls, and the make-up is meant to appear when the face is wiped with warm water. Perhaps yours was damaged in some way when you bought it?
ReplyDeleteAnonymous, I bought the doll 2nd hand in the Thrift Store. So who knows where the doll was stored for all those years before I came across her. Could be something in the Vinyl.

Try soaking a washcloth in warm water, wringing it, then setting it on her face for a couple of minutes.
