Today on my way to the Thrift Store, I decided to stop at Toy's R Us  to see if they had gotten Moxie Teenz, Bijou.  She wasn't there, but was going to pick up Tristen because she was 20 % off the regular price.  Went down the Barbie aisle just to look and found a few new dolls displayed.  I decided against getting Tristen, and picked up a doll from the new Barbie series " A Fashion Fairytale".

Glim'r is a Flairy, no I didn't spell it wrong.  She is not a fairy. 

There are two other Flairies in the series.  Shim'r (purple) and Shyn'e (lighter pink hair).

Glim'r is covered in glitter from the neck down.
Approximately 9 inches tall.

With her long legs and skinny body Glim'r reminded me of the Winx dolls. 

Did some searching and found out the Winx dolls are manufactured by Mattel.

I have no clue to who he is.  There are markings on his neck, but they are blurred and overlapping. Outfit he came in has no tags.   Any ideas of who he may be?

Found this cutie at the Thrift Store.  Usually I am there only to buy Fashion Dolls, but I couldn't resist her. 

I am hoping there are some My Twinn collectors out there to help me figure out what her name is by her face mold.  She is 23 inches in height.  Marked 1996 on her head and 2008 on her body.  She is wearing a My Twinn outfit but not sure if it was original to doll.

My First Barbie

This is my first and only Barbie doll from my childhood.  I was probably 9 years old when I got her.

I have a picture somewhere of me sitting by my cousin and her husband at the time holding my Barbie Doll.

She came in the black and white swimsuit, had sunglasses and the wire and black disc stand. 

The other stuff and various homemade clothes for Barbie are long gone. 

Barbie was well loved and has a prominent place in my collection. 

She is marked Barbie (with the R in the circle)

For the past two weeks, I haven't been able to find much in the way of Fashion Dolls at the Thrift Store.  So Sunday, I was passing time by searching different dolls on E-Bay.   I just happened to come across this doll by accident.  Never saw her before either on E-Bay or in reference books.  Since there were only a few minutes left in the auction.  I did a quick search of the same doll on E-Bay.   This was an excellent price for this doll.  And the shipping was not overpriced.   Put in my bid.  I won.  Really fast shipping.  Dealer lived in my state.

Knew she wasn't Barbie, but the name on the back of the neck threw me for a loop.  Couldn't find Torand on E-Bay.  Finally found the answer by searching on Goggle. She is Kelly from the TV Show 

Beverly Hills 90210.  Made by Mattel in 1991.  Original outfit.
