Applause! Great find! The Mego Cher. The Mattel doll is prettier, but the Mego doll has an interesting, ethnic look. Mego 12+" dolls remind me of the old Marathon bar commercials - the dolls seem to stretch out from here to forever, lol.
Oh my goodness. I got this doll for my 10th birthday. I remember looking at her and thinking, "What the hell am I supposed to do with this?" My mom was like, "But you love Cher! You always beg me to watch her show!!!" And I did, because I had to go to bed at 8 so I always missed the last 30 minutes of the show. But still, I didn't really want a doll of her. 35 years later, who knew huh?
