Radiation, Bratz, Moxie, Baldness

Radiation is over. 15 treatments at 10 minutes each.
Now have to wait 6 weeks to find out if it shrunk
anything.

This is the mask I wore when the radiation
was beamed to my head.
Anywhere there is a mark is where they had to point
the radiation to.  Didn't feel anything at all.
But it is so nice not having to stop everything at home
get Pat to drive me to the hospital.
Sarah my youngest went to TRU's for me yesterday and
Picked up my bald Bratz and Moxie dolls.
She picked up 3 for me. (Since I am kind of Bald now)
I have to give MGA Entertainment credit for
joining with TRU's To get the dolls to collectors
as well as children.
My favorite is Cloe. Love her hat. Will be
deboxing her.
There is no Sasha.  No bald AA dolls. What's up with that?
They were 14.99 on the TRU website and at the store.
TRU find.

    1. Thanks D7ana, You do not feel the radiation. Mostly it's a big old camera that moves and makes noises. The only time you know the radiation is going into you is when the camera makes noises.

  3. Thanks, it's really not over. At the end of the month I go back to my oncologist to discuss my chemo that I was doing before this all happened. It was given every 2 weeks and no side effects. Then at the end of July will see how the radiation worked. After a few doses of chemo, then they will probably do the Gamma Knife. It is another sort of radiation for the brain (but targeted to a specific area that the whole brain radiation didn't shrink)

  5. I´m so happy to hear that! I hope everything will be all right and your illness disappear completely and forever. You are a true inspiration, not only for your wonderful blog but for being such a strong and nice person. Hold on!
I think the bald dolls will help children with problems, it´s a nice initiative, and the money is always neccesary.
I appreciate even more than ever all your reviews and entries. Keep on going!

  8. I just saw these at TRU and think it's an awesome that they partnered up to make these dolls.

  9. Maybe they'll introduce more bald dolls if these do well and if they get enough feedback on what people would like to see in the line. I think making these available to the general public is better than Mattel's plan to distribute the bald Barbie to only certain kids.

  10. Glad to read that you are finished with the radiation treatments and I hope all goes well for you. The dolls look interesting! I too had only heard about the Barbie doll being bald. I am glad to see that someone went forward with it!
