I really don't think that is the same head mold. That is the regulare Christie mold and the head is normal size. That Artsy doll, and the other fashionistas have bigger heads. They are not as big as the My Scene dolls, but they are noticeably bigger than the regular barbies.

Model No. 10 — she is an African-American doll with long black hair in Collection 001. Her head mold was first used for the annual 2002 Barbie (African-American version) and for several African-American dolls a few years later. It was properly named the Desiree face sculpt, named after Barbie's friend of the same name in the Fashion Fever line in 2005. The head mold is currently used for many of Barbie's African-American friends in the main line (notably "Artsy" from the Barbie Fashionistas line).
Now that I can believe. I have Model #10, but I can't seem to bond with her. I was going to sell her, but decided to hold on a little longer to see if I would completely revamp her and make her into a doll I could really love.
Artsy! Really! How much was she? Why do you think her head is marked 2001? Was this head out before?
