Not sure who these dolls were originally.

Both dolls were Thrift Store finds.

The Decision

When we left Tierra, she was sitting trying 

to decide what to do. 

Should she stay with the Chynadolls or 

try to go solo for awhile? 

She thought long and hard about this situation. 

She knew what she is going to do.

She went over to see Tristan, her manager
to tell him she decided to give it a try.

He agreed Tierra should try going solo

for awhile and then rethink her decision. 

Tristan went to start the ball rolling

while Tierra went to see Jamal. 

Jamal was happy with Tierra's decision. 

He would love to go with her but work comes first. 

Tierra sings to Jamal his favorite song.

 Lucy: So have you ladies heard about Tierra?

Barb: What's up with that?

 Becca: Well rumor has it that the Chynadolls are

breaking up. 

Artsy: Well, maybe she is just taking a break. There is 

so much stress with touring.

Barb: Could be Artsy

 Lucy: Bend your head back a little more. 

 

 Lucy: All done.

Barb: Is Tierra's boyfriend Jamal going to join her here?

Lucy: I heard that they might be breaking up? 

Who's next.

Meanwhile at a small cafe on the other 

side of town.

Tierra is looking over some music that 

her manager Tristan gave her. 

Tierra is thinking:  Am I making the right decision?

Rainy Day Find

Today was so rainy and mild, 

so unusual for a day in January here on the 

East Coast. 

I went out anyway, first stopping at the Wal-Mart 

by my house.  They had nothing. 

Then on to TRU's since I still have 2 coupons.

Again nothing. 

Target was my next stop. Found nothing again. 

On to the Thrift Store where I found 

Not sure who she is.

After I went to TRU's yesterday and the Thrift Store, 

I decided to take a trip to another Wal-Mart in my area. 

There I found

Inside the heart on her face is 1600. 

 There are 3 other dolls in the series.

Toy's R Us, Coupons and Me

I belong to the Toy's R Us Rewards program. 

You know those little cards you have on your keychain

and whenever you purchase something, they swipe your card. 

Well, usually I receive coupons in the mail.  Wondered 

lately why they haven't come yet. Went to my Rewards page 

and found out that I had a 5 dollar off coupon, a 6 dollar off coupon and 

one for a Free Leap Frog book. And they expired today. 

You can print them off the website, so I did. And off to 

Toy's R Us I went. 

I first went to get the Free Leap Frog book for my other

half's grandson who is going to be two. I had purchased

the Leap Frog Tag Junior for him with a number of 

assorted books for Christmas. I even remembered to 

bring the list of books I had already bought. 

New book found, price was 11.99, with

coupon it was free.

Then on to the doll aisle to see what I could 

find.  Lately they have had nothing that is on my list. 

There were no Monster High Dolls to be found. I only

am looking for Skull Shores Draculaura and Cupid. 

There were no new Disney VIP dolls. 

Ever since Hey, It's Muff posted the 

Bratz Party Play Set

on her site, I put it on my list of things to buy. 

I couldn't find it at the Target I go to.

They had it at TRU's  on clearance for 

19.98 and with my 6 dollar off coupon

I paid 14.98.

Missing yellow gloves and belt 

When I found her, her hair was all tangled

in her hood. Her head was loose as someone 

must have tried to take it off. 

So I took off her head, cut the prongs. And her head

went back on. After getting the hood out of her 

hair, I just couldn't get it back on with her mask. 

So I stuffed the hood with cotton to retain its shape, 

and now it's under her hair.  

Hood is attached to the outfit. Need to find 

a way to get it off without ruining it.
The Bat Cycle is in perfect shape.

Yesterday I went to see a former co-worker and friend 

to videotape a segment that she wanted for a workshop 

she is going to give. After the taping, before going home, 

I decided to stop at Wal-Mart to see if there was 

anything new in the doll aisle. 

When I went by the aisle, it was quite bare. But way down

the aisle I thought I saw some boxes.  Lo and behold, 

there were 3 Monster High Boxes. One was a Toralei,

two was a newer version of Cleo de Nile and the 

third was

I decided to attempt to try to scalp

a doll all by myself to get her 

ready for a flocking.

Here is how it went

Took off her head

Cutting off the prongs 

Tip from Dollz4Moi and Chynadoll 

Head is ready to take off the remaining hair.

Head is back on body.

Do you get the face repainted first 

before flocking?

Haven't purchased the flock yet, would like my fellow 

doll collectors to help decide what color flock 

should I buy? 

There are 31 different colors, should she be conservative, 

or should she go wild?

Eyes are not as good as they used to be.
