Special Occasion Barbie II

I found out that this doll had a very limited distribution and is hard to find.

Flea Market find.

Doll was found with only backing. Shoe were included. Shoes are silver with a blue jewel.

I believe the velvet has faded. It should be a dark blue velvet. This one seems close up to be purple.

My last Tuesday Flea Market day since I go back to work tomorrow.

Do You Recognize Me - 19?

Found her at the Thrift Store today.

Looks like Jenny but I am not sure.

She is marked on her back with a butterfly in a circle.

Also some lettering, which could be Korean or another Asian language.

Found this doll at the Thrift Store yesterday. All she came with is the black straw hat on her head.

Marked Jakks Pacific on the back of her head.

Slanted twist and turn waist.

Bendable knees.

Hair is in a pony tail which is pulled up and attached to her head.

Her hat reminded me of Mary Poppins. Can't find any info on the net.

Missing shawl

There is a story behind this doll. I found the doll yesterday at the Thrift Store. She had her clothes and her boots. Today, I went to see a lady who has garage sales all the time. Months ago she said she had some Barbies but since she has so much stuff she really didn't know where they were. She told me that when she finds them she will put them away for me. Yesterday I stopped at her sale and she told me to come over today for the dolls. I got a box of about 10 dolls (including Tracy in my next post) along with a bag of clothes. Took the box home and started looking at the clothes and I come across a beret that looked familiar.

It was the beret for the Scotland doll. Now just to find her shawl.
